FRIARS KEEP UNDEFEATED BEAT GOING

FD front court too strong for archrivals

The FD Friars are your IIAAG Boys Basketball League clear cut favorites, staying undefeated at 8-0 after another big win over their archrival St. Paul Warriors 66-58 Tuesday night at the Phoenix Center.

The FD front court of Noah Tenorio, Jamel Romero and Noah Cruz proved to be too much for the Warriors as the trio combined for 32 points. FD also dominated the boards 48-33 and contributed the ball well with 16 assists.

St. Paul (5-3) had the lead after the 1st quarter 15-12, but the Friars bigs helped FD take control thereafter.

Warrior Raven Pascual had a huge game in the loss, scoring 35 points!
