MOM’S VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE STARTS THIS WEEKEND

16 teams ready to go in Legacy Volleyball league

PRESS RELEASE – Legacy Volleyball Guam is excited to announce the start of its Fall Mom’s Volleyball League, bringing together 16 dynamic teams for a season of spirited competition, community, and fun. Opening games take place this Saturday, September 20, at the George Washington High School Geckos Gym in Mangilao.

This popular league, designed for moms and women across Guam, continues to grow as one of the island’s most enjoyable athletic programs. Teams are guaranteed seven games, with trophies for the top finishers and special recognition for standout players in each division .

“This league gives us an amazing outlet to stay active and enjoy great competition with friends,” said Natasha Garrido, player for the Salty Aces — champions of the Spring League’s Competitive Division. “The Fall season is shaping up to be our most exciting yet, and I can’t wait to see all the moms out there playing hard and having fun.”

The opening round will feature preliminary pool play throughout the afternoon, setting the stage for several weeks of power pool action and playoffs. Fans are encouraged to attend, enjoy concessions, and cheer on their favorite teams. Admission is just $2 for adults and $1 for students (ages 5–17); seniors (55+) and children under 5 enter free

The league concludes on October 18, 2025, with an All-Star showcase and championship finals, highlighting the top talent and crowning the Fall League champions.
