Guam’s skateboard community will have to wait until at least March to find out who Guam’s 2025 skateboard champion will be.
The highly anticipated Inaugural Guam National Skateboarding Championships, planned for months and scheduled for Saturday at the Dededo Skate Park, was rained out.
“It’s the reality of living in a tropical paradise, we just have to deal with it,” said Guam Skate Network president Clayton Duvall, who said that while the 16 skaters entered were bummed out, the organizers were not. He also said that 13 of the 16 competitors voted to postpone the event.

Our 8U Guam Cal Ripkin All-Stars finished in 3rd place of pool play (2-2) in Cal Ripken World Series Scottsdale, Arizona. During pool play, Guam lost to eventual champions Manoa, HI 13-9.
