No. 1 Hiroyasu Ehara dropped excitedly to the ground after winning the singles final of the 2017 King’s Guam Futures Sunday afternoon, not only because it was his second ITF Pro Circuit title of year, but also because it was against one of his tennis role models growing up – Takao Suzuki.

There will be a rematch in the IIAAG Boys All-Island Tennis finals. Derek Okuhama from St John’s and Guam High’s Sidney Gadsden will face each other once again for the All-Island Singles championship. The Singles Finals is scheduled for Thursday at 5pm at the Hagatna Tennis Courts.
