According to KUAM News, Captain Mike James, George Arriola, John Hattig and Frank James of crew “Emmanuel” successfully caught and reeled in a 942-lb Blue Pacific Marlin at the 2012 Saipan International Fishing Derby, breaking the record for Saipan waters.

Mike James is a long-time slow pitch softball pitcher while John Hattig is a baseball legend and considered the best fastpitch softball pitcher in the Pacific of all-time.
