Highlights

The Open Motorcycle division two of the top contenders JR Cepeda and Jacob Einloth were off island leaving the top spot on the podium up to an eager group of mid pack chargers. #73 Gary Camacho aboard a Yamaha grabbed an early lead in the first of two twenty minute heats with #98 Yamaha mounted Marshal Vawter jr. right on rear wheel. Camacho was on the throttle but Vawter kept the pressure on finally wearing down Camacho enough to make the pass into first. With Vawter in front Camacho held onto second to the heat one finish. In heat two Camacho once again took the lead off the start with Vawter once again right on his rear wheel. The two leaders put on an epic bar battle with Camacho able to find that bit extra to pull away from Vawter in the final minutes off the heat. Camacho took the round 11 Open Motorcycle overall class win with Vawter taking second. Third went to #75 Honda mounted Jeff Rios with #717 Dave Dunn Yamaha, and #15 Matt Guzman Honda rounding out the top five respectively.

Kids Mini Atv Highlights

In the Kids Mini Atv class #6 Collin Ray Cruz currently leading the class in points got off the gate charging in the first of the two heats and quickly put distance between himself and the rest of the field of contenders. Running in second was #75 Jesse Leon Guerrero with his brother #23 Jordan Leon Guerrero in third. At the checkerws of heat one it was Cruz with the win, Jesse Leon Guerrero in second with brother Jordan Leon Guerrero in third. Heat two started out like heat one and was looking to be a repeat of the finish of heat one but with #13 Bernabe Guerrero in second and the two Leon Guerrero brothers running third and fourth. At just past the midway point of the heat second place Guerrero #13 Drx machine quit working leaving him stranded on the side of the course. This allowed both Leon Guerrero brothers to take the second and third place positions. Just as it seemed all was set Collin Ray Cruz took the white flag signifying one lap to go his engine let out a puff and he also was left stranded on the side of the course. This gave Jesse Leon Guerrero first place at the checkers with brother Jordan in second. Overall it was the #75 of Jesse Leon Guerrero with round 11 overall win, #6 Collin Ray Cruz second overall and Jordan Leon Guerrero third. Rounding out the top five respectively were #66 Damian Manibusan and #13 Bernabe Guerrero.
