CURRAN BACK TO DAZZLE AGAIN

[sixcol_five_last]

PRESS RELEASE – Are you ready for the ladies of PXC?Curran

Pacific Xtreme Combat continues to cultivate the sport of MMA by showcasing their growing roster of young female fighters ready to battle against the best in Asia-Pacific.

PXC-38 will feature another high caliber female bout on August 9th in Guam. Kailin Curran returns to PXC after a historic performance in her pro debut at PXC 36 ealier this year when she became the first female to sign with PXC and earn a victory in front of an estastic Guam crowd.

Kailin hails from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, where she trains at Gracie Technics alongside UFC fighters Max Holloway and Dustin Kimura, who also competed in PXC prior to getting signed to The UFC. Most recently, Kailin spent significant time training in Los Angeles at Reign MMA with Mark Munoz and his team to improve her skills even more.

Curran’s skills as a grappler will be tested as she faces submission expert Emi Tomimatsu. Tomimatsu is very young, but experienced female fighter from Tokyo, Japan, training under Paraestra Matsudo.

Will Tomimatsu’s experience give her the upper hand or will Curran once again prove she is an up and coming striking force to be reckoned with? This bout is one of the most anticipated fights of the night as it is a match-up between a classic striker and grappler at 115 pounds. Both fighters are ready and prepared for battle…this is a fight you don’t want to miss.

PXC 38 is this Friday, August 9th at The University of Guam Field House. Doors Opening by 5:30 pm on Friday afternoon, with Showtime at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are on sale for $30 General Admission at 76 Circle K locations throughout Guam or $50 VIP at Cars Plus in Maite.  Both are available online via www.tpiguam.com.

PXC 38 is presented by Miller Lite, Docomo Pacific, and the stations of KUAM.  Sponsored by Air Guard, Jeep, Monster Energy, Pacific Islands Club, 76/Circle K, Budget Car and Truck Rental, Pacific Trucking, Hotel Santa Fe and Gladiator Crew.  This is a Tropical Production!
