Neil Espino finished with 12 points to lead the class combination of 2000 and 2005 over the other combined class of 1976 and 2001 with a final score of 46-39 on day two of the FD Alumni Tournament. Frank Perez of ’76/’01 led all scorers with 17 points in the losing effort.
’00/’05 hung on to a 19-18 lead at halftime but could not keep up with the size of Espino and shooting of Nick Santos, who finished with 11 points. Santos hit key shots in the second half, including a three-pointer to stretch the ’00/’05 lead 41-34.
Steve Phillips had the most exciting plays of the game for ’76/’01 with two highlight blocks but Espino matched Phillips’ efforts with a couple of big blocks as well. Sean Leon Guerrero made a couple of key defensive steals in the final minutes of the game, including the lead clinching layup to secure the ’00/’05 win.
2006 – 55, 2013 – 47
Julius Yu led the defending champions with 18 points over the freshman tournament class of 2013 and Michael Sakazaki’s 13 points.

Dominic Sablan erupted for 27 points for ’09, including a flurry of flashy passes and rhythm jumpers down to stretch to hand Ervin Jose and the class of 2010 their second straight loss in the tourney. Steven Gatewood added 13 points for ’09 while Jose finished with 20 points for ’10.
2008 – 60, 2007 – 50
A well balanced scoring attack from ’08 led by Christian Cristobal, George Ilao, Kyle Perron and Ryan Cabanero were enough to overcome a monstrous 30-point game by ’07’s Jude Martinez. No players from ’08 scored over nine points which was due to their constant player rotation.
1996/1997 – 51, 1991 – 46
Luis Blanco’s 17 points gave the combined class of ’96/’97 the push they needed over Luis Cruz’s 12 points for 1991.
1974 – 55, 1970 – 40
Glenn Leon Guerrero scored 17 points for ’74 as the easily handled the class of ’70. Richard Leon led ’70 with 10 points.

Jimmie Yi scored the most points in the tournament thus far with 38 points to lead a powerful ’02 class over ’98.
1995 – 45, 1992 – 30
Laurence Fejeran’s 13 points was more than enough to get ’95 over Steve Pangelinan and ’92. Pangelinan led his class with six points.
2004 – 51, 2011 – 26
William Stinnett’s ’04 class got the jump on ’11 early, holding a big 21-2 lead over ’11 midway through the first half.
