The match was level at 2-all at the end of the first period, but Doosan began to pull away in the second period, finishing with a 6-3 lead going into the final period at the Guam Football Association National Training Center beach court.

In the day’s late match, the Disasters edged Doosan 3-2 after one period of play, but Doosan outscored its opponent 3-2 on a trio of goals from Quichocho in the second period to level the match at 5-5 going into the final period. Angoco lifted his team to the win, scoring the eventual game winner in the sixth minute of the third period and two minutes later connected on a throw-in from teammate Cody Cruz for the final score of the day.

Quichocho also scored once in the first period. Doosan’s other goal came from Valencia in the 8th minute of the first period. Gavin Santos and Alvin Merfalen each scored twice for the Disasters. Ray Blas scored Pago Bay’s other goal.
