PRESS RELEASE – Pacific Xtreme Combat will feature a plethora of international competitors on February 28th at the University of Guam Fieldhouse.
PXC Featherweight Champion puts belt on the line versus Hawaiian knockout artist.
PXC’s current World Featherweight Champion Jang Yong Kim will face Hawaii’s Toby Misech at PXC 42 with the 145 pound championship at risk. Kim, the captain of the world-renown Korean Top Team, is ready for whatever the challenger may bring his way.
“In MMA because of the mixture of striking and grappling, the fights are much more dynamic and you have to be prepared for anything and everything. I plan to be well rounded and bring him into my gameplan. We’ve left no stone unturned in our preparation. I want to put on a good show for the fans around the world”, Kim explained.
The challenger Misech, is looking for the knockout. The Hawaiian revealed, “I’m always looking for the knock out. That’s just how I fight and I feel like a knockout against the champ can be successful if I can land. I changed up my training by putting on more size and power and I also increased my cardio. This camp I have been training to fight 25 minutes just in case.”
