Stealing the show in the ceremony was A’s Mike Bautista grabbing three different trophies which included the league MVP, most RBI’s, and most Home Runs. The Braves were handed out numerous playoff awards and the 2013 trophy.

The Orioles cashed in an impressive start to the season by defeating the Braves 13-9. Jathan Muna Barnes and JR Hattig took lead in the game with Muna going 3-5 including 3 runs while Hattig went 3-5 scoring two runs and adding 3RBI’s on the night.

The Orioles jumped out to a commanding 9-0 lead after their first two at bats and never halted the late rally by the defending champions.

Winning pitcher RJ Joe finished with 2K’s while Braves’ Paul Lujan gets the opening game loss.

BBL action continues Sunday with the Athletics vs. the Cardinals.
