GBA is a nonprofit organization with a focus on developing baseball and fast pitch softball on Guam and the Western Pacific region. GBA enjoyed a successful 2013 & 2014 with multiple training programs, holiday training academies and clinics for baseball for players. Most recently, GBA is conducting the After School Baseball Program to Guam Elementary Schools educating the kids on prevention of tobacco, alcohol, and drug abuse.
The 2014 Guam National “Top Gun Youth Baseball Games is a four division youth league for the further development of youth baseball on Guam. The “Top Gun” Games are designed to bring together the best young baseball players in each age division and challenge them with competitive games against the higher level of competition that exists with our players on Guam. The four divisions will include 18U, 15U, 12U and 10U with the goal and concept of the competitive games designed to enhance player skills, game play, and challenge our youth with a higher level of competition.
The “Top Gun” Games will crown Guam National Champions in the 10-under, 12-under, 15-under and 18-under divisions. 2014 Guam National “Top Gun” Youth Baseball Game will be held from August thru November, 2014 with a 6 game guarantee for teams including a round robin and single elimination championship round. The 2014 Guam National “Top Gun” Youth Baseball Games packet includes an outline of game rules/format, registration information, roster/participation contract and age consent waiver to review.
Another unique feature to the Guam National “Top Gun” Youth Baseball Games is our exclusive National All-Star Division Games.
On Championship Sunday, the selection committee, made up of the National Tournament Directors, will select All-Star Teams from each age group division in a ceremony preceding championships. 24 players will be selected (12 Blue, 12 Red). At least one player is guaranteed to be selected from all participating teams. Those players will be announced in our All-Star ceremonies and presented with an All-Star medal.
