
The Seawalker Guam Fastpitch Softball Team advanced today to Championship Saturday in the Bronze Bracket of the Triple Crown 16U World Series in San Diego.
With only 12 players, Guam won three games in a row defeating Adrenaline White (Colordado) 10-4, Conkaktion (California) 11-10 and Northwest Bullets ( Seattle Wa.) via forfeit.
Sam Quintana has two home runs in two days of playoffs.
Pitcher Meagan Maratita has gone into the weekend with a winning record of 4-3 which includes winning three in a row on Friday.
Kiana Rivera, Sirena Cepeda, Ciara Cali, and Colleen Quinata lead the team which has accumulated 33 hits and two home runs in two days to move them into Saturday.
The team’s head coach is Russell Maratita and assisted by Glenn Nelson.
