TRENCH KIDS + EASTER EGG HUNT ON APRIL 15TH

A Mini Obstacle Course Race exclusively for children ages 4 – 11 to take place this Saturday April 15th at the Guam International Raceway from 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM.

 

PRESS RELEASE – TRENCH™ KIDS + Easter Egg Hunt on April 15

A Mini Obstacle Course Race exclusively for children ages 4 – 11 to take place this Saturday April 15th at the Guam International Raceway from 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM.

Kids will get a chance to tackle up to 10 different obstacles and terrain challenges on the motocross track. At the finish, they’ll receive a finisher medal sponsored by the Bank of Guam, refreshments from Triple J Five Star Wholesale and Foremost, plus a Hafaloha design participant Dri-fit. Awards will be given to top 3 boys and girls finishers in their division.

Registration is closed with 330 participants already signed up.

Packet pickup takes place at Hafaloha in Tumon tomorrow (Friday 4/14/17) from 6 PM – 10 PM with an incentive of a free soft serve or small shave ice.

After TRENCH™ KIDS obstacle course race at 11:00am the activities shift into a FREE open to the public Easter Egg Hunt. Prizes will be given out to the kids that find the marked eggs.

There will be vendors on site selling food, snacks and drinks. STAX a new vendor selling awesome sliders and other good eats, Lyn’s BBQ with their popular bbq items and fruit drinks, Marisol fried foods, Hafaloha shave ice, and Hafa Adai Lemonade / Pacific Island Mannge Pops.

Fun for the whole family. Ample parking. Free admission.

Guam’s Wayne Blas completed his 13th Boston Marathon and 38th marathon overall.
The island’s record holder in the distance, Blas finished this year in 2:35:21.
“I’m very happy with this result because seven months ago, I was sidelined with a stress fracture that kept me out for three months. No running! To come back on an abbreviated marathon build and finish one of the toughest races strong and healthy was a big win for me.”
His time of 2:29:38 at the 2023 Chicago Marathon and World Marathon Majors Age Group Championships stands as the Guam National Record.
