SANCHEZ FALLS TO BLANCHFIELD VIA UD

Brogan ‘Killa Bee’ Sanchez jumped in on short notice to take on a young rising star in Erin Blanchfield in InvictaFC 41 and Blanchfield walked way victorious via Unanimous Decision.

Sanchez delivered a clean strike early in the opening round that caught Blanchfield on the chin to briefly stifle her, but Blanchfield recovered quickly and started to pick apart the Guam fighter. Blanchfield used ground and pound to establish a strong lead on the scorecard in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Blanchfield gained a full mount and started to swing away towards the end of the 3rd round, but the tough Sanchez avoided a referee stoppage as time expired.

Sanchez suffers just her second loss in her MMA career, falling two straight bouts (5-2).
