MEDIA RELEASE – Earlier this morning … Guam lost an amazing human being in coach Nate Tully. Wrestling coach of Tiyan High School and head coach of the Snakepit Wrestling Club.
An amazing man, husband and father he leaves behind his wife Maria Dunn and children Marleya and Tyson including hundreds of wrestling athletes that he has shaped throughout his time on Guam.
Tully dedicated himself to the island unselfishly and coached not just the Tiyan Titans but youth from kindergarten through high school from all villages and schools. “Our prayers are with Nathan and his family and with all of Guam’s youth whom he has coached and mentored through the years,” said GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez.
“Nate was a friend and a family member to all of us and he will be dearly missed,” said ISA acting program coordinator Al Garrido. “You would see him and Maria and the kids at many of our wrestling events. HIs contributions to our community will not be forgotten.”
