The FD Friars made no doubt about it Saturday that the 2021 Boys Soccer Season was theirs to lose. The Friars scored six goals in quick fashion to beat the Harvest Eagles 6-1 for the IIAAG title at the GFA Training Facility in Harmon Saturday night.
FD had surmounted a 3-0 lead in the first 30 mins of the game. Scores from EJ Manibuasn, Nainoa Norton and the Gavin Baker quickly put the Friars in a comfortable position. Sablan would net his first goal for a 4-0 and another shortly after, with teammate Gavin Baker his second as well to round out the strong day of scoring from the Friars as they surmounted a 6-0 lead at the half.
Harvest avoided a shutout with Matthew Hodgins scoring in stoppage time.

The Guahan Junior Barbarians represented Guam well in Singapore. The girls U18 took first place in their division in the 13th Centaurs International Youth Rugby Tournament while the boys captured second place playing ironman rugby with no subs.
