GSPN PRESEASON TOURNEY DAY 1

Saturday was tip-off of the GSPN Preseason Basketball Tournament, presented by the Guam Army National Guard, which featured four games and the debut of eight teams.

The closest contest of the day was the third game between the FD Friars and Okkodo Bulldogs that went down to the wire. The St. Paul Warriors welcomed EJ Cruz to his first ever preseason tournament as they ran away from the GW Geckos in the last game of the day.

Bishop Obispos beat Mt. Carmel for the IIAAG Middle School Girls Basketball championship 37-25.

The Benavente Roadrunners crushed the Agueda Pirates 17-1 to win the 76 PONY Middle School Baseball League. Rodney San Nicolas was a beat, striking out 13 batters in a complete game while going 4-for-4 at the plate, including a homer and 4 RBI.
