GSPN’S I MÅS METGOT COMPETITION SET FOR SEPT. 11

Have you ever wondered who the strongest man/woman is on Guam? We did too! We at GSPN have set up a competition for a to truly see who Guam’s strongest man and woman are with the event set for September 11th, 2021! This event is presented by Michelob Ultra.

Here’s some quick details for any FAQ’s you might have to get you excited for what’s to come next month!

Where will the event take place?
– It’s going down in the lot right next to the Paseo stadium in Hagatna!

How many competitors will be participating?
– We’ve invited some of the strongest men and women to compete with a building roster of roughly 6-8 men and 4-6 women, which we will reveal soon!

What kind of events are they going to be doing?
– We’ve got an array of events, six on total, with a local theme to some of them! We can’t give away the events just yet so stay tuned!

How can we watch the event?
– There is no admission so bring the family and watch the events LIVE! In the event you can’t join us at Paseo, each event will be live streamed right here on GSPN!

Will there be food and drinks?

Most definitely. Some of Guam’s favorite food trucks and the best beverages from our fine sponsors will be available.

And as an added bonus, master of ceremony extraordinaire Kyle Mandapat will be keeping you informed and entertained.

National Guard Athletes

National Weightlifter Jacinta Sumagaysay

Sergeant Jacinta Sumagasay has had all kinds of weight on her shoulders and the Guam Army National Guard has been there through every step. The Guard has given Sumagaysay plenty of opportunities in life while also allowing her to do what she does best – lifting her way to Guam’s best in her weight class of 59kg.

5-year-old Guam Sports Network boss Ezra Lujan presents Mangilao Mayor Allan Ungacta with a Free Library made by Team GSPN.
It includes kids books, supplies and backpacks in hopes of promoting children’s reading in Mangilao.
