GSPN VOLLEYBALL PRESEASON TOURNEY

Public and private schools ready to do battle

Fourth quarter sports will get off with a bang as the Guam Army National Guard brings you the 2023 GSPN Preseason Boys High School Volleyball Tournament March 11-12 at the Tiyan High Gym.

Since the split of the public and private schools four years ago, this will be the first of its kind to have the leagues combine before their respective IIAAG and ISA leagues get underway later in March.

Twelve teams will be ready to take flight in a weekend full of boys high school volleyball action.

Guam’s Wayne Blas completed his 13th Boston Marathon and 38th marathon overall.
The island’s record holder in the distance, Blas finished this year in 2:35:21.
“I’m very happy with this result because seven months ago, I was sidelined with a stress fracture that kept me out for three months. No running! To come back on an abbreviated marathon build and finish one of the toughest races strong and healthy was a big win for me.”
His time of 2:29:38 at the 2023 Chicago Marathon and World Marathon Majors Age Group Championships stands as the Guam National Record.
