Ray Zaragoza, formerly from Ordot, received his jiu-jitsu black belt from professor David Veloria, formerly from Dededo.
The pair train and run The Trench Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Tacoma, Washington.
Zaragoza is the first to be promoted to black belt within The Trench camp.

The Academy of Our Lady of Guam (AOLG) hosted its 3rd annual U15 Girls Volleyball Tournament with seven teams.
The AOLG Swaggers went unbeaten and beat the Legacy Volleyball Club (LVC) Crumble Cookies, comprised of Notre Dame players, in the championship game 25-20, 25-17.
