RUNNING CLINIC SET FOR JULY 12TH

Community First Guam Federal Credit Union and Guam Running Club announce an inaugural Summer Running Clinic on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Outrigger Guam Resort banquet room, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Community First Guam Federal Credit Union and Guam Running Club announce an inaugural Summer Running Clinic on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Outrigger Guam Resort banquet room, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The running clinic will be hosted by Charlie Epperson, a professional triathlete and former collegiate runner at the University of Tennessee, and Derek Mandell, a two-time Olympian and former collegiate runner at the University of Portland. The two-hour session will offer free training advice and will focus on developing training plans, nutrition and racing strategies for runners of all levels.

For more information, please call 646-9333 (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

The clinic will also offer a breakfast meal for the price of $10.00 per person. Payments for breakfast are accepted only at Dr. Horinouchi’s Wellness Clinic, across GPO in Tamuning. Deadline for breakfast payment is July 11, 2014 at 3 p.m.

Guam Blooded: Ethan Toves Maddies has signed to play D1 baseball for the College of The Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts on a full ride scholarship.
