Lady Guahan Stays Hot At Guam Women’s Baseball Cup
Second Shut Out Win & No Hitter For Lady Guahan
(Manenggon Hills, Guam) The third day of the 1st Annual Guam Women’s Baseball Cup wrapped a three game schedule on, Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Leo Palace Resort Stadium. In the first game, Far East Bloomers defeated Vanguard, 15-5, for their third win of the tournament. Satoko Taniguchi picked up the win, while Chien Hsin Ting took the loss. Far East Bloomer Namie Nakagame was named Player of the Game, going 3-for-5, driving in two runs, and scoring two runs. Vanguard is now 2-1.

In the next game, Lady Guahan shut out Yarakuta, 23-0. Lady Guahan starter Merced Flores tossed a No Hitter to pick up the win with Wing Yu Chan taking the loss. Latoya Mojica garnered Player of the Game honors going 3-for-4, two doubles, four RBI, and four runs. Lady Guahan improves to 2-1 with Yarakuta winless at 0-3
