Following a successful title defense against Toby Misech at PXC 42, “the Beast” Jang Yong Kim (8 wins 5 losses) makes his long awaited return to the Terrordome at PXC 47. The event, scheduled for March 13th, 2015 at the UOG Calvo Fieldhouse, will see Kim defend his belt against Japanese fighter Yusuke Yachi (10 wins 4 losses). Yachi has defeated his last two PXC opponents and is hungry for a chance at the champ.

Welterweight champion Zebaztian Kadestam (6 wins 1 loss) returns to Guam on March 13thwhen he takes on Korean Top Team’s Han Seul Kim (4 wins 2 losses). The 6 foot Swede Kadestam is coming off a dominating decision victory over Josh Calvo at PXC 45. Kim is riding a 2 fight win streak and is looking to upset Kadestam.

Undercard features wealth of international talent

PXC 47 also features the return of Darren “Bone Crusher” Uyenoyama and Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey. Uyenoyama faces Kentaro Watanabe of Japan in a flyweight battle. Uyenoyama is a UFC veteran and this will be his second fight under the PXC banner.

Cortney Casey looks to continue her dominance of the female straw weight division when she takes on unbeaten Helen “Hellraiser” Harper of England. Harper has a great deal of respect for her opponent but is ready to secure her place in the PXC roster.

“I have a huge amount of respect for Cortney and I’m very much looking forward to sharing the cage with her. As the old adage goes, fight, until your idols become your rivals“, Harper explained.

Casey, 2-0 in the PXC, is ready for the challenge. “I don’t care who I’m fighting, it’s just someone that’s in between me and the PXC title.”
