Swimmer Benji Schulte brought in Guam’s 2nd gold medal, seven total, after narrowly defeating Samoa’s Brandon Schuster by .18 seconds in the 400m Individual Medley. Schulte’s time was 4:39.11 followed by Schuster’s 4:39.28 time. Tommy Imazu also of team Guam finished 7th place at 5:29.49.

Schulte won a silver in the 100m breaststroke Monday night.

The men’s basketball team continued to roll after defeating Solomon Islands 91-62. The women’s team fell to a tough Tahiti team 67-54 with Destiny Castro netting 20 points.

Weightlifter Shane Alan Concepcion finished 10th place in the the 85kg Clean and Jerk competition and 5th in the Snatch. Brandon Holm was 10th in the 94kg division.
