DAY OF CHAMPIONS WRAPS UP SUMMERJAM TOURNEY

Summer is coming to an end and so is the annual SummerJam Tournament presented by Bank of Guam. Teams in the 8, 10, 12, 14, 18 and under, men’s varsity and coed recreation divisions will complete the elimination process for the final two teams to meet on Sunday, August 11 “Day of Champions.”

PRESS RELEASE – Summer is coming to an end and so is the annual SummerJam Tournament presented by Bank of Guam. Teams in the 8, 10, 12, 14, 18 and under, men’s varsity and coed recreation divisions will complete the elimination process for the final two teams to meet on Sunday, August 11 “Day of Champions.”

The awards presentation will take place after each championship game that include 1st place, 2nd place, MVP and Top Scorer. Pro rugger Zach Pangelinan suffered a leg injury on his way to a try in the Houston SaberCats match vs. the L.A. Giltinis on Saturday in Major League Rugby action. The 32-year-old fullback in his fourth year with Houston is recovering and said he will be back on the pitch soon.
