RAYS OPEN 2019 GML SEASON WITH CLUTCH WIN OVER ROYALS

The Guam Major League season got off to an exciting swing Friday evening as the Rays defeated the Royals in walk-off fashion in extra innings. Rays Gerald Borja clutched walk off single in the 11th for the 8-7 win.

Starting pitcher Paul Pangelinan finished with 5K’s and relief pitcher Tony Yatar finished with 2K’s for the Rays and Mike Muna finished with 7K’s for the Royals.

Borja went 2-of-6 including his game winning RBI and Jared Palomo went 2-of-4 with a double. Dom Cruz went 2-of-2 with one run and an RBI. Jathan Muna Barnes went 1-of-6 with a double and Kurt Diaz went 2-of-4 with one run and one RBI.
