EARLY REGISTRATION OPEN FOR TRENCH 2020

PRESS RELEASE – Early Bird Registration for Guam’s Obstacle Races Trench Kids (03.22.20) and Trench Challenge (09.20.20) opened January 1st with the option to insure entry fee.

For the first time since its inception and the first time on Guam, athletes/participants will now have the ability to purchase Entry Protection Insurance for the event from Fanshield. This will provide athletes the opportunity to receive a refund of their entry fee in the event of injury or other significant life events which may prevent them from attending Trench Races.

“We recognize that events often happen in life and participants may want to take advantage of early registration fees with peace of mind that their registration is locked in at less risk. The new registration insurance adds a level of protection for athletes and participants when making the critical decision to register for our races. We hope this helps to set an industry standard moving forward.” said Tom Akigami, Trench Challenge Race Director.

Trench Kids and Strider Racing is scheduled for Sunday, March 22nd at the Gov. Flores Ypao Beach Park as part of the 2nd annual GVB Ko’Ko Kids Fest.

The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
