Get ready for a fun-filled Sunday as GSPN hosts its 2nd I Mås Metgot Competition presented by the Guam Army National Guard.
Find out whose Guam’s Strongest Man and Woman as five men and four women take on six tough events to test their strength and endurance.
Anthony ‘Big Tone’ Salas and Brittney Pereda are back to defend their titles won in October 2021 inaugural event.
The festivities takes place west of the Paseo Grounds off the Agana Boat Basin and it’s free for the public to enjoy.
Along with Salas will be Ariel Delos Reyes (2nd place in 2021), Tim Nauta (3rd place in 2021) and newcomers Elton Bautista and J.J. Ambrose.
In the women’s bracket, Pereda will be joined by April Flores (2nd place in 2021), weightlifting superstar Jacinta Sumagaysay and Miara Leon Guerrero.
“It’s awesome. I know all the girls,” Pereda said. “One of them becoming a close friend from the event (April) and now one of my best friend (Jacinta) is joining… and Miara and I grew up going to the same middle school. Shows that women can empower each other while showing what we can do.”
