At 1pm the first of two scheduled heats was sunny with near perfect track conditions but then going into the second round of heats the skies opened up and the track was quickly turned into a soupy mess. It was however attacked by the racers with enthusiasm as the action on the track was intense and a non stop brawl towards earning valuable championship points.
