PRESS RELEASE – #1 ranked Da Doks will battle the #2 ranked Lions in the Cup Finals of the inaugural Heineken Rugby 15s. Da Doks have shown that they are the team to beat with a physical defense and a fluid offense attack system. The Lions have proved that they are one of the more experienced teams.

This is by far the most talent stacked rugby 15s league our island has ever produced. The amount of experience and youth is extremely spread out between the four teams. The winner of this game will truly determine who is the best Men’s Rugby 15s team on Guam in 2013.

All fans are encouraged to come out this Saturday to the UOG Field at 1 p.m. Not only will fans witness the best rugby 15s action on Guam, but they will also be treated to a special halftime show. The Heineken Rugby 15s League will be presenting a check to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. 100% of all the proceeds throughout this 7 week league is going directly to a local boy’s wish. They will still be collecting admission and donations at the Championship game, so come out and let’s help our local boy’s wish come true.

100% of the proceeds are going directly to a 16 year old boy from Talofofo. He currently suffers from hepatic disease, which is a liver disease. He has recently returned to Guam from receiving medical care in LA. All of the proceeds from the Heineken Rugby 15s is going directly to grant his specific wish.

Also, one lucky fan will get a chance to WIN $10,000. This fan will be chosen to kick a 45 yard drop kick field goal to win $10,000!

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at the UOG Field.
