TRITONS REMAIN IN 3RD PLACE OF GFA MEN’S LEAGUE

The University of Guam Men’s Soccer Team remains in 3rd Place in the Guam Football Association Men’s League (Division II) with a 9-4-0 record and 27 points in the standings after the 14th week of competition.

PRESS RELEASE – The University of Guam Men’s Soccer Team remains in 3rd Place in the Guam Football Association Men’s League (Division II) with a 9-4-0 record and 27 points in the standings after the 14th week of competition.

The Islanders FC is the #1 team in the league, with a 10-1-1 record and 31 points while the Bobcat Rovers are 9-2-2 and 29 points in 2nd place.
Both the Rovers FC and LOA Heat are in 4th place with 22 points.
Triton individual scorers in the GFA Top Scorers List (The Golden Boot) include Jacques Diambra Odi tied for 6th place with 11 goals, Dylan Naputi in 8th place with 9 goals and William Naden tied for 9th with 8 goals.
UOG still leads for overall defense in the league by allowing 1.46 goals per match (19 goals overall in 13 matches) and are in 5th place out of the 11 teams for offense, scoring 3.08 goals per match (40 total goals).
UOG has a bye this week in the GFA but returns on Friday, February 24 with a big match against the LOA Heat, a team that beat the Tritons 1-0 back on December 13th. Game time is 9:00pm on the 24th.
