CAMACHO DOMINANT IN UFC FIGHT NIGHT STOCKHOLM

Precision, patience and a tough chin: Frank ‘The Crank’ Camacho turned in his most impressive fight in the UFC to date after picking apart opponent Nick Hein with a TKO 4:56 into the 2nd round in UFC Fight Night Stockholm.

Precision, patience and a tough chin: Frank ‘The Crank’ Camacho turned in his most impressive fight in the UFC to date after picking apart opponent Nick Hein with a TKO 4:56 into the 2nd round in UFC Fight Night Stockholm.

Camacho methodically attacked Hein’s mid section with kicks all fight long before unloading well-timed shots to finish off the hurting Hein late in the 2nd round.

“The old Frank would’ve made that fight a lot more difficult,” Camacho told GSPN after his victory. “The plan was to work the body.”

Fight announcer Dan Hardy, one of Camacho’s favorite fighters, noticed the style switch from Camacho given all of his UFC fights, and most all of his pro MMA fights for that matter, have been heavy brawls. Camacho displayed his versatility, picking Hein apart rather than run him over.

It has been dubbed Crank Version 2.0 with his transformation as a fighter, historically having a difficult time just making the 155-lb. weight cut. This time around, the cut was smooth and his performance matched that.

Congratulations Frank!

Camacho goes in for the kill after Hein started retreating late in the 2nd round.
