The 2015 Payless Kick the Fat 5K beneficiaries are announced.

On December 14, 2014, PMCF launched the 2015 Kick the Fat 5k Mini Grant, geared to support local non-profit organizations that are currently meeting the needs of our island residents. Local non-profit community-based organizations that address significant community needs especially in addressing key issues relating to improving the quality of life of the people of Guam were eligible to submit proposals. The grant amount will be contingent upon the funds raised through the 2015 Pay-Less Kick the Fat 5k on Saturday, March 21, 2015.

The event includes a community fair immediately following the race. As anticipation and participation for this 5k race continues to grow, “Pay-Less is proud to not only promote health and wellness in our community, but also raise funds and awareness for local non-profit organizations and help to improve the quality of life for the people of Guam,” says Kathy Sgro, Chairwoman and Executive Vice President of Pay-Less Supermarkets.
