
The 21st annual Payless Kick the Fat run/walk 5k amassed over 2000 runners early Saturday morning with the course taking off at Chamoru Village. Runners were turned around at Adelup and finished off at Paseo.
Storming through the race with a blazing (16:17) was the speedster Ryan Matienzo with Derek Mandell close behind at (16:52).
For the females, it was none other than Manami Iijima finishing with an (18:42) time.
